FAQs

What if I am already a Vancouver Board of Trade member?

Members of The Vancouver Board of Trade who fall under the CYP requirements are able to apply to be a Vancouver Board of Trade and a CYP member. This means you now receive the combined benefits of being a corporate member of The Vancouver Board of Trade as well as The Company of Young Professionals. Please contact your Account Executive forfurther clarification.

What if I am a past Leaders of Tomorrow member?

As a past LOT member you are not required to fill in the CYP entry application form. The only requirement is that you fulfill the criteria of being under 32 years of age. Please contact Maria Braungart at mbraungart@boardoftrade.com to find out rates and to receive an application to re-apply. If you graduated fromLOT (proof of graduation certificate or involvement in the program is required), your year in LOT equals your first year in CYP. Therefore, you only need to complete an additional two years of CYP to obtain your CYP Engaged Leadership Certificate.

I have been a CYP member for a while. How do I get involved with the CYP Engaged Leadership Certificate Program?

Please contact Nicole Wears at nwears@boardoftrade.com and we can determine how many credits you have already obtained.

How do I submit and track my involvement with the CYP Engaged Leadership Certificate?

Download and print the PDF file named Activity Report. Please fill in all the documents required in the Activity Report and submit to Austin Nairn at anairn@boardoftrade.com for credit confirmation.

How do I receive 25% off the member rate at Vancouver Board of Trade events?

First, make sure the event is eligible for the discount. When registering online, under payment options you must click “Charge my member account.” Submit your membership number and in the comment box provided type “I am a CYP member and I receive 25% off the member rate.” We will then discount the member rate and send you an invoice for the difference.

Vancouver Board of Trade events presented in co-operation with CYP with a Speaker's Roundtable
